- Download avastclear.exe on your desktop or where you can easily locate it.
- Start Windows in Safe Mode by pressing F8 continuously before the Windows display Windows logo.
- Open (execute) the uninstall utility in a safe mode
- If you installed Avast in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
- Click REMOVE Avast Anti-virus and wait for few seconds for set up to be uninstalled from your PC
- Restart your computer.
