Of-course there are moral absolutes which surface as a subject of individual laws and obligations. In the real sense, absolute means the exactness of any situation at any time, any place and perhaps for what has happened to guarantee the existence of such attitude.

The significance of morals in the society is as great as law itself and if there were to be no moral absolutes, the entire human race would have gone astray and done so many illegal acts just in the name of absolute freedom. But perhaps, to keep things right and to situate individual freedom in its proper context, the issue of moral absoluteness comes in.

Morals as the total way of life, which cannot be likened totally with what culture is saying, but picks it usefulness from culture, has played a significant role in the life of humanity. For the fact that moral absolutes exist, every citizen knows what to do so as not to violate the spirit of the law and hence face the wrath of the law.

Offences like raping, robbery, and stealing bring to light the timelessness of moral absolutes in the society. If however, an individual holds more or less, the philosophical opinion that there are no moral absolutes, the consequence is to permit oneself to do any and everything, anytime, anywhere and even claim innocence before any legal system.

The need to curb or prevent public assault and maintain moral absolutes as upheld by common and constitutional law, is a classic argument for the institutionalization of public security agencies, for it is evident that society degenerates into chaotic conflagration, without laws and the enforcement of it. Unchecked individual freedom however, seems to be a near approximation of the wishes of the ordinary man and without moral absolutes playing the pertinent role of holding the fabric of society together, the pursuit of absolute freedom will undoubtedly leave much to be desired. The fact that moral absolutes exist in human societies, then compels social agents to reach deeper for more noble thoughts, traits and actions that promote self-consciousness as well as consciousness of the collective good self restraint offers.

The great books (Quran and Bible) talk a lot about morals, and moral absolutes so that all believers of these books will be distinctly known in the society they belong to, as a result of moral lessons been taught in their gatherings and the way they relate and handle things.

Immorality simply means an illegal act that is not officially accepted while morality is just the exact opposite, and with this everyone would want to be of good conduct and be reckoned with in the society, as per what they are known for, which should be good and could be bad depending on individual application to the concept of moral absolutes. But to maintain a peaceful society, moral absolutes need to be entrenched and enforced consciously and unconsciously at all times otherwise the universe will be in disarray. Moral absolutes transcend the final actions of individuals but also influence contemplation and thought, nudging them in direction where social utility is evidently and practicably at premium.

“Absolute power corrupts absolutely” justifies that moral absolutes have a significant role in the universe. Despite the fact that moral absolutes can be seen from diverse ways, one still needs to maintain the usefulness and importance of morals in the society one belongs to.

Conclusively, moral absolutes should be observed by everyone to maintain a peaceful and egalitarian society.
